Hindsight is 2020
The word “unprecedented” feels overused in 2020, but it’s true that we, as individuals, as a company, and as a world, have faced challenges this year that are unlike anything our generation has experienced before.
At the end of last year, we knew we wanted to take advantage of 2020 being a year that aligned well with 20/20 vision. To us, living 20/20 in 2020 meant not letting your vision hold you back from living your life to the fullest.
2020 was a year ripe for progress and movement, a year that you could achieve long-held dreams. But when the Covid-19 pandemic made it’s way to southwest Virginia, the thought of “living 20/20” stung with irony. No longer was 2020 about achieving goals – it was now about surviving a pandemic.
Even then, we knew that vision is an important part of capturing every moment in focus, whether special or mundane. If 2020 taught us anything, it was not taking anything for granted: being able to see your children huddled around a board game, video chatting with grandparents that you haven’t seen in months, or watching a beautiful sunset with your loved ones.
Regardless of where the end of 2020 finds you, know that the doctors and staff at Vistar Eye Center are here to help you live your life to the fullest.
