Roanoke — Jefferson StreetDr. Matthew Casey is a full-scope optometrist providing comprehensive vision care, contact lens, and ocular disease care. Dr. Casey graduated from SUNY at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York, with a degree in Chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Casey brings with him 25 years of experience in the field of optometry. Dr. Casey’s journey in eye care began in Western New York State, where he grew up immersed in the world of optics. His father and grandfather were both self-employed opticians, and he grew up helping around their office. Inspired by their work and eager to take the business to new heights, he became an optometrist. Dr. Casey expanded his expertise by working alongside ophthalmologists and discovered his true passion for ocular pathology.
Outside of work and spending time with his family, Dr. Casey enjoys golfing, hiking, biking, playing guitar, and collecting rare vinyl records.
