Roanoke - Franklin Road, Roanoke - Jefferson and SalemDr. Brooke Conner-Tsang is a full-scope optometrist providing primary eye care, contact lens, and ocular disease care. Dr. Conner-Tsang graduated from The University of Virginia with a degree in Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry as well as a Master’s in Vision Science at The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
Dr. Conner-Tsang hails from Floyd, VA, where she developed an early interest in vision due to her mother’s ocular albinism. After growing up hearing her mother describe her condition, which has caused her to have reduced vision her entire life, Dr. Conner-Tsang realized that even a small improvement in someone’s vision can make a world of difference.
She entered the eyecare industry at 16 years old and developed a passion for eye care while working as an ophthalmic technician in the Roanoke Valley. While earning her Doctors at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she served veterans through her externship at the VA and provided eye care to people in rural and low-income areas through organizations such as Remote Area Medical. Dr. Conner-Tsang has experience in co-managing surgical patients alongside multiple ophthalmologists and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration.
Outside of work, Dr. Conner-Tsang enjoys spending time with her family, her friends, and the members of Grace Church. Her hobbies include reading, volleyball, and enjoying good food with other people.
