Children’s Eye CenterDr. Reagan Darner is a licensed optometrist providing full-scope optometric care for adult and pediatric patients and specializing in pediatric eye care with an emphasis on binocular vision dysfunction and traumatic brain injury. Darner received her doctorate of optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she graduated with honors. She completed an optional fifth year of residency training in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation in Hamilton Square, NJ.
Dr. Darner landed on her decision to become an optometrist when she realized that her own eye doctor scheduled appointments with her on his day off because she spent so much time asking how to perform all the tests.
Her passion for pediatrics and treatment of binocular vision dysfunction stems from her personal childhood experiences and history of surgery for strabismus. Dr. Darner enjoys helping children because she knows that eye health impacts their academic success as well as their confidence in the environment around them.
“I understand first-hand the effect binocular vision issues can have. There is no better feeling than knowing you have helped a child in a way that will impact them for the rest of their lives.”
In her free time, Dr. Darner enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their golden retriever. She loves reading, traveling, yoga, and anything outdoors or water-related.
